Yes. I can totally relate to you. My old computer, I played text based games and Runescape because it wasn't that graphic heavy. I finally got a new computer a few years back which allowed me to venture into new realms of gaming.

Right now I am playing Guild Wars. I was playing Spore, but there is a lot of.....disappointments with that game. Oh well you know?

I rented Fallout 3 to hold me over til Gears of War 2 comes out Friday and I'm wishing I could spend the extra bit to go ahead and buy it because there's no way I'm going to finish all I'd like to do in it by then.

I'm debating whether to get Fallout 3 or Left 4 Dead and I only have enough for one. To most of you, the choice probably seems obvious, but 28 Days Later-style zombies sprinting after you is extremely appealing.

Fallout 3 is amazing. I had to return it yesterday and now I'm sad. :( I wish I could buy it. Left 4 Dead looks pretty awesome too and it's Valve so I'm sure it'll be good but I probably wont be getting it.

I got Gears of War 2 now and I can say that it is awesome. It's much better than the first story wise and the multiplayer is way more balanced than the first's. Also, Horde mode is awesome and addicting. It can get quite hard though.

Story is way too short though, 5 or 6 hours i think it took me, multiplayers is good though.

I hate the Wii. It's stupid in my opinion and I don't see how you could prefer CoD on the Wii over the Xbox 360. FPS's suck on the Wii from what I've heard.

The reason i prefer it to xbox is because its so much more fun, and immersive. Whenever i play my xbox, i always keep on getting frustrated at how, clunky the controls are, and long for wiimotes, im just a wii guy i spose :|

Hi. Although i agree with nearly everyone who says fallout 3 was an awesome game, was anyone else as dissapointed as i was at the ending? So glad i had a save file before the final quest.

The combat consists of clicking and pressing one of three keys to choose a battle style. There's also drinking elixirs to enhance yourself, but the devs did not incorporate that well.

Left 4 Dead is really fun. I bought it for the 360 and have had lots of fun with it so far. I can't wait til there's DLC for it (should be soon). Expert campaign is something to try to achieve with some friends too. It's pretty hard but doable after a couple hours.

also far cry 2 which is an excelent game with a powerful graphics engine and for those new to map making has a unique simple to use level builder. it also has 4 difrent endings to it with over 20square miles of map to shoot up.
also been trying that bioshock game which is intresting rpg/fps game play style and the big daddy's make intresting pets lol.

I'd like to have seen it do better, but truly, the way they had that holier than thou attitude for the past 7 years, they get no slack from me.

-Combat Arms, occasionally.
