This game will probably be releasing a download by disc version. But can you just think about releasing a disc version that runs most of the stuff straight of the disc. I know of a few MMO's that do this, and the experience is great, it allows you to play the game at much higher specs and you get so much more out of the game, thanks to the fact most of it runs straight of the disc.
Opinions?
or maybe any plans?

Ok I'm changing my post because when you said "disk" I thought CD. Which at first I was like "NO! Let it run fully off of the hard drive please!"
But I'm pretty sure you mean the hard disc/drive when you say disc.
So yes. Please do. It just makes sense from a technical point of view too. I'm sure they are already planning on it working like this.

lol i mean CD disc, but dont jump to conclusions, i want it as an added option, i dont have the best of computers and i recently played a game that uses a CD, that actually allows it to run most of the content off the disc, cutting lag, and space taken up by the game. Its just a more attractive option for people like me who dont have amazing comps and want to experience the beauty of game at a higher spec

Huh? Sorry but I really doubt the fact that it is running from the CD that makes it not lag.
Most games run faster if they are fully on your computer.
Now, you DO need enough memory (Ram as well as disk space) but as long as you do then its much better.
Trying to go off a CD may be a bad idea since later updates to the game may change enough system data that there will be info that becomes obsolete on the CD.
PLUS I do NOT want to always have to make sure I have my CD around/with me. And don't want to fear that if I lose/break/corrupt the CD that I have to buy a new one just to play...

unless your computer is over 10 years old, your cdrom drive is slower access than your hard drive. If it is over ten years old, then your hdd and cd are running at the same speed.
No reason to make it run off of the cd, truly. Not to mention the vast amount of data that comes with a MMO compared to regular games. You'd have to put it on a bluray disc to fit it all on there.
Solid State Hard Drives ? =)
Cool....you guys are selling the game in a SSHD version!!!
(I will be misqouting that and blowing it out of proportion at every chance I get! :P)
