Legend to begin with , there is a difference between no experience and noobie developer. I m new here , but most MMORPGs are begun with little or no experience in mmorpg field , a wide background is normally used , from pen & paper , to PC games to gamers with common sense.

What makes a project vaporware vs on going project is the leader. I can tell you bunch of horror stories of going before investment boards where the leader of the project was a complete asshat and had no charmisa.

Leadership , charmisa, drive and money are the key parts to making a good massively online rpg. You can have all the talent in the world , but if you cant drive the car from point A to point B , that talent does nothing for you.

Look at the major studios , who have failed even given the fact they had money , and talented people , like Conan , Warhammer , DDO , LOTR , TR and Vanguard.

Talented people dont mean much if you dont got a good producer , and good work ethic to push them to task and get rid of feature bloat. You also need a CEO who speak up and get across his vision to team , his investors and his Community staff.

Its pretty easy to armchair Damon from the behind the PC , frankly if you are in any way shape or form in the gaming business , you know there is alot going on behind the scenes.

Small studios have a huge battle to top , most often times , they dont got the resources to do everything and often times they are putting in 72 hour work weeks to build something that armchair developers are decry or cry about.

Anyhow , I wish Kaos War the best of luck and look forward to day when I can make a half naked dark elf here with a sword bigger than she is.. or was that Lineage 3 : Naked Elves Edition?

Settle down folks, we're working on finishing it up. Like Tyen said, we hit a little road bump along the way, but it's looking quite good at the moment. Keep in mind that we're also trying to develop a game and have a number of other things going on behind the scenes. Just today is the first we've been able to allocate the team as a whole to finishing the new site.
