factions question.

I am assuming that the factions are 1 race only since no evidence points to any other conclusion. So does this mean that my demon can not group with somebody elses angel? and, is the game going to have faction points, so that a human could lean to the side of good and be a crusader for light, or a warrior for evil. also, can an angel lose its holiness and become fallen, therefore joining the demons? how about a reluctant demon who turns good ( kinda liek a SPAWN thing).

Fractions are acually 3 race from what i've seen so far.
Human naturally evolves.
The other two come out of thin air :)

The factions in Kaos War are the Deva (Angelic beings of light and order), Humans (we all know and love 'em) and the Al'gar (demonic beings of darkness and chaos). With regards to changing factions, I can't say anything about that at this time. More information on the factions and so on will be released as time goes on.

I thought both the Al'Gar and Deva wanted to create order... an end to the chaos. continued struggles of the Deva and Al’Gar and their ultimate goal to eliminate Chaos and bring their own sense of order to the universe.

You are entirely correct there paladin, though I'll have you know that the order the Al'Gar pursue pretty much comes down to turning the universe into nothingness... ;)

The Al'gar do act in a slightly chaotic way internaly, but there is a clear order behind this... Which is centered around the right of the strongest or rather, the strongest being seen as ultimately right.

At this current moment, there is no definitive link between Deva and Al'gar Avatars in terms of grouping. BUT... dont let that scare you because there's plenty of time for that to change... or not... ;)

all your thoughts are great guys but it comes down to 1 thing for me. Colossus or the Demon Beatthecrapoutofeveryoneupclose Class. I mean...as the Colossus flying down into a group of say 5-10 guys trying to show of their uber shooting skills and just smashing the hell out of them with my giant sword is one way. Or if i remember from the original making of kaos there was a character created that basically looked like a giant freakshow with a huge clubbed mace. just picture that demonic toon running at you and jumping into the air only to land ontop of your friend with his giant hoof and then smashing you over the head with his mace. ^_^ just a friendly scenario, MWUHAHA. OFCOURSE, im the bringer of pain when it comes to Melee and the humans and devas got nothing on me and my freakshow.

i think they should make a world big enough and enough places to go so you do not want to team or talk with the other factions

Nothing is set in stone over if it is possible or not to group with other Civs. It could cause extreme unbalancing issues and should be looked at very carefully.

If it winds up not being possible at all to join the different races in battle. Could you guys have like a house of neutrality. A place where all the races could get together, for like mini-games and such, and check out eachothers stats, methods, weapons, way of advancing in the game. You could lure people into other factions that way that otherwise would not have even cared to try a race they automaticaly dont like. Like a human player that doesnt want to be a Algar, because they are ugly icky icky deamons ect. Anyway its just an idea. WICKY WICKY :p Ps. the little dudes tounge keeps coming out wrong, should be to the side. This way it looks like im mocking everyone........and maybe i am, you never know. Barooohaha

mayb there can be a system where by there will be hmmm..how shd i sae this..
ok for example.
there are 3 races that u can choose,angelic,demonic and human
but there are 2 factions for u to join once u reach a certain lvl.u can either be neutral or u can join the good even if u choose demonic race or even the bad even if u choose the angelic race. well since the 2 faction will have epic battles,the neutral will mayb be hired as spies for one of the faction or mayb a trader to earn more money etc.
