umm my tech lvl is some what low so ill ask a question outright

;D umm i like that FFXI "encourages" you to party or grupe pritty much through out the game. the thing i did not like about other mmo's was that you feel like you are just playing a rpg with other people runing around and stealing your kills and not enough story line to make you play more in other words a poopy console rpg with no story. i play ffxi cuz i can and cuz of how i prefer to play have to interact with other players i have been told that in WoW:p you "have to grupe" but when i press for details its always in refrence to end game stuff FFXI ahs you party through the whole game it is FFXI's greatest strenth also its greatest weakness (waiting 3 hours to do something cuz u can not throw a pt togeather) oh lol i did not ask the question.
will you party through out the game or only if "you have to" to do certan things?

The thing I liked about FFXI was you felt you earned your level as it was not easy to level when it first came out. Sure you could spend 2-3 weeks grinding on easy mobs to earn a level but a party was nearly a must starting in the early to mid teens.

Beastmaster was my fav. just because you either died and lost a ton of xp or you lived and had about 2 hit points left after the fight.

Plus crafting and fishing in FFXI was also a challenge to level without spending too much money to do it.
