another way for transport

MY IDEA:
i was thinkin about some kind of turbo speed travel system.
Because I think in like most other rpgsit will take a while
before you have the money or lvl to get a mount.
And for the people who dont have the ability to hve a mount yet,
there could be another transport for a little fee.



THIS IS WHAT I WAS THINKING OF:


ALGAR:
An Alchemist has discovered an new potion which makes you run faster.
Also the Alchemist discovered that when you have an high dexternity and strenght rate
the effect of the potion will increase.
This ALchemist sells his speedboost potions at BragunDragul.
This potion will only be effective for a period of time.




Humanity:
The humans have a High speed train which can take you to some
little stations throuhgout the world of KAOS.
You can buy single tickets but also week tickets.
you can buy those tickets at the trainstation in Sanctuary.




Deva:
The Devas already have wings so they can move faster then the other races.
But to give the Devas also an ability to travel on turbo speed you could,
give them a certain skill to go in turbo speed while flying.
the higher your skill is, the faster you can fly.
but the turbo skill consumes your magical points.
When youre magical poits are on 0,
The turboSpeed will stop.

Think you're referring to the old quotes below (check the Order from Kaos thread). Loren left a long while ago and these may or may not reflect the current state of the game. Unsure about Jiisu.

“The Deva … can FLY right out of the box. Currently, we are planning for the Deva to engage in air to ground and air to air combat” (Jiisu Domorael FP 15 Jul 06)

Deva strategic movement is via “portals to move around the gameworld quickly ” (Loren, FP 20 June 06)

Deva can fly “short distances” and use magic (Loren FP 17 Jun 06) Comment: Loren said in a FP on 20 Jun 06 that the Deva were able to fly “medium distances very quickly”

Since the Human city is partially underground, wouldn't it be more like tubes than trains?
That could be nice for immediate travel, while you are in your load screen you are going through the tube. Next thing you know you pop out on the other end and get out of the capsule.
