Transport

i have been thinking of a way to transport quickly from A to B.
Ofcourse we get the mounts,
but with some experience in some more rpgs it wil mostly take you some time and some lots of money before you can have a decent mount.

now this was my idea:

I think it would be nice to have some kind of teleporter
which you can use for some money when you dont have the money or level yet to buy a mount.
But since the teleport scroll or teleport portal is used alot it wouldnt be original.

so this is what ive been coming up with:

Every race will have his own kind of high speed transport.


humanity:
The humanity have made some kind of high speed trainrails,
which you have to buy traintickets for.
troughout the world which enables humans to travel highspeed troughout the world

Deva:
The Deva's have wings so they could go in some kind of turbo fly mode.
but it will cost them some magical points(mana, or whatever you guys call it)
Or like its some kind of skill and the more you raise the skill the further you can travel.


Algar:
An old alchemist from BragunDragul made a potion which makes you run alot faster for a period of time.
you can buy Those potions for a certain amount of money

The time it will less and the quickness of you're character will improve when youre dexternity and or strenght improves

I kinda like the whole concept of being able to teleport. It's something I think that seems to sit quite nicely with the Algar in that you could have their scout class (maybe a sub class - assassin) which has the inate ability to port themselves - with usual cooldown periods etc. Would be great for getting into the thick of things and eliminating your target as well as saving your ass when the going gets tough.

The more experienced you become the further you can port and/or have a reduced cooldown period and/or be able to remain cloaked (stealthed) etc.

Deva's could equally utilise such abilities, maybe even have a group port spell at higher levels - that sort of thing.

Humans would be more tech based and have devised a small handheld device that opens a small portal through which they can pass. Again a cooldown period while it recharges etc.

Everyone here is such a wealth of good ideas! We do have our first transportation system in the prototype stages. Its a wild ride! It is alot of fun and utilizes the world in a very new way. It also falls inline with the story of the world as well.

cool, can you atleast release a little snippet of info on whether or not the different races will have unique transport?
