I wanted to suggest that gameplay could be a lot more interesting if PvP was more FFA than faction based. Would lead to a greater focus on guilds/alliances if you are looking for that. Just a suggestion.

Actually something better would be to have separate servers with different rulesets (As many MMO's have done) Such as one server has faction-based PVP, one is FFA PVP, etc.

That is a good idea. I definitely would like that, and I may even have more than one character if I feel like playing faction-based sometimes rather than FFA (very rare lol).

Or........you could have those different server types but be able to, if you want, create your char. and level him up or whatever on a role-playing server, then when hes all big and buff take him into the PvP servers and pwn some n00bs! ;D

That wouldn't be fair to those starter on PvP servers since they have a higher chance of dying.

While Kaos War is primarily faction vs. faction, it's too early to rule out a FFA style server. PvP gamers have long asked popular games for FFA servers, only to be denied because conservative developers and publishers are worried about losing people who potentialy roll on such a server, have a bad experince, and cancel their subscription. Players want the game to be fun, and make no mistake, having to worry every 10 seconds "is Jack going to be an ass and nuke me while I'm tanking these mobs" is not fun. What it comes down to is, you'll have to wait and see.
