hey guys im new here ;) first and formost hi lol

i recently quit playing WoW aand started researching into other MMORPG's i cud play... i found KW in amongst many but KW really stood out to me...!
people have been contributing ideas for weapons and pretty much every aspect of the game...and the devs are trying to interpret these ideas into the game.

now back ontopic :p
one of the things i really could not stand about WoW was its tendancy to reward the total freakz living in there mums basement who played nonstop more than the "casual player" like say... an addict in a huge raiding guild cud get there tier x really quickly where as the casual player wud be stuck in superior/crappy items for most of there wow lives :/ sure they made new stuff like heroic dungeons where the loot was at better standerds but to get into them you even had to grind rep with factions till you where revered which was a real drag for the casual player,so really you where forced to raid.before the TBC (ah the good old days) you could pvp and get some neat items they sorted out the old honor system and the new one let you get items at your own pace but still the raiding items where better

wow...this is like the biggest post ive ever made on a forum lol...
anyway...the point of my thread was to say are the rewards in KW gonna be = for the people who like to raid and the people who preffer the aspects of owning someone in pvp?because im sure me... among many people wudnt mind getting some decent gear outta pvp aswell as a bit of casual raiding :P

Hey, neovo. Take the following with a large dose of salt as the quotes are 15 months old and from a person who is no longer a Dev. Be that as it may, it's all we have:

“The way our system is set up 95% of the available items and gear retain value wherever you are in the leveling curve, instead of just being the thing you should use between say, level 23 and 25”

“Raid loot is not the only way of getting a top notch set of gear for your character and there is little difference between what gear or specs you'd use for PvE and PvP”

There was also discussion somwhere about armour (for example) 'growing' with your toon as you level but I can't find the words.

So Moloch does this mean that you are planning on rewarding PvP in general or more in a WoW type Battle grounds, Arena? Do you have ideas that can be shared without revealing more then you can?

Just curious, us pvpers are very eager to find a game again that is gratifying in just a PvP aspect without having to worry about the grind for loot in PVE?

Just curious, thanks

PvP: hmm well not my strongest suit but I manage. Rewarding the PvP guys is like giving a teacher an apple of course its a great gesture but how often does it happen. Alot of games have been changing this because of the fuss over the PvE players who were forced to enter PvP situations because of whatever reason they brought up. I'm not going to go dig out old posts or nothing. The point I'm gonna make is; that if you wanna reward the pvp players it should be something that you can get in say an elite dungeon(not my best example but it fits the point). Building a community off of PvP and PvE. you'll have your all PvP all the time people who can get the nice gear at the same time you can have people who are PvE all the time that can get the same gear for doing practicly the same ammount of work. Just because you guys can uber pwn the nubs doesn't mean you fully need to have avantage over those of us that don't particully care to PvP. Not against it but I find that there is more finer things in life then stompin' some newb face in. :)
