Games.net Interviews at GDC!

Greetings Kaos Legions!

IDG Entertainment caught a few of us at this years GDC for some good questions going on in the industry today.

Pretty good questions. Not Kaos War related but I agree on the views of the PS3. I don't like it. And with the Wii, you have the motion sensing controllers that I don't really care for as Will also said. Also, the games are OK; I haven't been really satisfied with any of them except Twilight Princess because I'm a fan of those games. Sure the Wii Sports games are fun, but I don't care to play them; they're not my kind of game. And as far as the video games not being taken seriously, I agree with that too. It takes a whole lot of effort and time to make something like a video game. I don't have any first hand experience of course, but I know it's not easy.

Wow I can't even get a wii were I'm at, but there are ton's of PS3's in the stores here. As for the wii's their all sold before they even get placed on the truck to be shipped here lol...In fact there is such a high demand for them that I have never even seen one in real life, we have a super wallmart and they don't even have a demo one set up.

One of my friends got a Wii the day they came out and I went over to his house to play it. We played some sports and then he showed us some of Red Steel. I wasn't that impressed. Graphics definately don't live up to what I've gotten used to by playing Oblivion and Gears of War and I don't really care for all that motion sensing crap like I said before.

If I had money I would love to get a new gaming system....but I do not, so forget that idea :/

You aren't missing much. As of right now at least. The really good 360/PS3/Wii titles aren't coming out until later this year.

Anyway, awesome interview, nice to see an independant's view on the gaming industry, agreed with sooo much you said.. Being a Canadian, absolutely agree that there is still a Stigman in North America about the Video game industry and such and DEFINATELY need to get away from that. No one does take it seriously.

Will Love the Glasses!! Damon, didn't realize was your real name hahaha... Love the name ;) And agree with Rhi, the paleness suits you keep it! but then again, am from Montreal hehe :P
