I was working today with my mom and stepdad. They were talking about what God and Satan really looked like with some BP reps. (BP gas station).
They kept saying that god would be the most "inspiring/gentle/vibriant/etc" being and his light would be so overpowering you would melt in happiness.
They then said that Satan would the opposite "revulting/destructive/ugly" create that would cause you to burn your eyes out. (Satan was a FALLEN ANGEL, right? In Christianity. (A Ha-Satan in Hebrew was an angel called an accuser)
I thought of a rendition of what satan would look like and that that it would make an interisting creature.
The Entangled Heart.
A 4 - 8 Meter Skeleton Angel. Bare Boned. A Sword that glows like the sun (BRIGHT/White) with the stains of battle (BLOOD), and blood would run off the sword like the rivers of hell (never-ending drips of blood) from all the victims slain. The chest cavitiy would be nothing but a heart as black as a cave, giving the feeling of being sucked into its depths. The heart is attached to the ribs and spine by arteries. The skeleton wings should/would span 7 - 13 meters.
Higher Levels of an entangled heart would have more flesh (because I SAY SO, but its up to the devs of course) and they wings should turn a nice Crimson Red with Black tips feathers.
That would be a pretty impressive creature. Al'Gar for the win.
Reason for a bright sword, Angels I dought had demonic weapons and dought they would want to use anything other than their original weapon.
I named it the Entangled Heart because an Angel in Hell would have the difficulties of loosing all of its "love/holy aura" and would be struggling forever within itself. An Angel would have to really mess up to be sent to hell. Satan doesn't count.
