The subject title was just so I could get your attention since you would carelessly delete, “ignorant whore”…but I’m not going to unintelligently bash you. Now, since you have hardly played any videogames in the past FIFTEEN YEARS (!), as said in your blog, you have no right to write an article about gaming AT ALL. You don’t even know what Blu-ray is! To help you be a little less ignorant, it’s the new version of DVDs that has greatly enhanced the picture quality and its pretty much the same thing as HD-DVD. Not sure where you got your information, probably something like NBC.com, but I assure you that you are ill-informed on what these pieces of hardware can do. Try IGN.com or gamespot.com. Also, where did you get the statistic of most gamers are 29? I hardly ever meet someone over the age of 19 on Xbox Live in the USA (online service of the Xbox console FYI), in my experience, the ages really range from 13-21, I’m 15. Since your precious first Nintendo days (I’m guess fifteen years ago) the gaming industry and games have evolved G R E A T LY. There are awesome games like Halo/Halo 2 (and soon to be Halo 3), Final Fantasy series, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and Gears of War. You at least owe to yourself to try at least ONE of these games to rid yourself of some of your ignorance. I guarantee that you will have a lot of fun playing these games. Is it so wrong and pathetic that we’d rather live our life in a place where we can battle the god of war for redemption of our soul (God of War) or fight for survival of the human race (Halo and Gears of War) than read a book written by a guy on LSD? These games don’t just provide fun for hours, but ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE storylines. Many of these games are movie worthy and have books, a’ la Halo, which has four lengthy, awesome books written by Eric Nylund. I definitely recommend The Fall of Reach by the way. You’re pathetic for not actually trying the latest thing in videogames and then have the nerve to write an article about how pathetic we are. Ever think there might actually be something about these games that’s cool and fun and immersive? People lost their jobs after the release day of Halo 2 for not going to work for DAYS. It’s not because they have no lives, it’s because of how much fun and the excitement they got from playing it that they couldn’t put it down. I hope that before you write another article on videogames, or any article for that matter, do more research on the side that you oppose.

All I would have to say to this lady is...Everybody is different. What you find fun other people find boring. What other people become amused by, you might find stupidity and arrogance.
