Hi everyone! We just released lore 1 The Beginning in the story section on the main page. We hope you enjoy some history of the Kaos universe!

There's a pretty talented author there and, if I'm not mistaken, Damon comes up with the stories, right? Nice piece of writing.

How long till the next part is up?

I'm glad everyone liked it. I'm not sure if all of the stories of Kaos I've been told so far are Damon's or a collaboration with some of the other devs. He would be better able to elaborate on that. As far as new lore, that will be written and made available as Damon relays to me more of those stories he has locked away in his imagination. There's a lot of other things that require his attention at the moment, but we have a tentative goal of at least one per week. Once I have a firm grasp of how he envisions the game world, I'll be producing lore more quickly - and eventually a novel.

OMG! You're obviously male. Okay so first of all most women spend about a week before their period in a mood anyways, then we're actually miserable for a week or more if we're not regular which means our periods can go on for almost 2 weeks or more. And women usually stock up on this type of anger anyways. So I wish the male race good luck. ;D

For you information, I do NOT whine. And I'm actually pretty mature for my age. And I would pull the "You're a guy and just don't understand" card but I don't think that will work here. I've just come to accept that women are different from men and that I can use my strengths to overcome the obstacles that sexist males have set for me.

I'm still working on the next piece, the backstory for Humans and one of their main cities, Sanctuary. After that will be Devas and Al'gar.

is the story going to tie in anyway to the bible, mythology, or ancient history? if there is anything that makes an "epic" storyline its referring to, in some way, those things.

I think that if it's going to tie into something it should be ancient history or mythology. And obviously whatever it ties into I think it should be done in a way that we've never seen before.

It all falls into place now after reading through. I personally think that no side created the known planes but both..The Soulstream being neither light nor dark, but a powerful force of energy that is "the origin of life" which is neutral. Balance is the key here, for the Meha being positive, Carcites being negative, and Humans wanting to achieve that balance between both neg. & pos. You can look at life and compare it to this theme seeing the exsistance of mans struggle to aquire that balance. At this moment that is what I am searching for to higher my being.
