What is with the different colored names?

I thought they meant like Dev, contributor and such. But seems that isnt the case as I read the thread about What now, and moloch has a blue name same as Damon, but he isnt a dev. just a glitch or is some kind of meaning behind them?

He is a moderator. The color will change today perhaps. We are trying to catch up with our workload as you can imagine and that is on our list. Blue is Developer, Gold is Donator. Green or Red for moderators probably. Haven't decided yet.
