hehe, suicidal tendencies ...they rock....but im now older and im at Dio, Rainbow ...Pantera, Prong, they all rule but dio, kiss knew how to rule with a bass or guitar...riffs and baselines that kick asses:)
neally all after them are clones:)

I have WAY too many to name, but for now I'm really getting into AFI, Hinder, and My Chemical Romance. Those are just a few. I'll listen to almost anything. A lot of it just depends on the mood I'm in.
Oh and HIM is really awesome too!

Killswitch Engage, Tapping the Vein, Seether, Shattersphere, Lamb of God, Korn, Disturbed, Sevendust, Manson (Ive met the whole band but Manson himself grr), The who, Yes (yes the old band owns), Joe Satriani, Tool and Slayer (Was 15, went to a slayer concert with pantera opening. Jumped in the mosh pit almost got wrecked but my god it was fun). ;D

slayer, uff, sure one of my favs 2...mostly south of heaven, seasons of the abyss for their doomy style....korn, metallica for the first 3 ones (cliff burton, me bows down for the basslines), chillies, oh fuk there are that much i like:)

Too many to list, but here are the most influential: Tool, Tool, Tool, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Smashing Pumpkins, Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, 311, Alice in Chains, Dead Can Dance, Bjork, Radiohead, ok I'm stopping now, I could go on and on. Did I mention Tool? I've seen in concert: Pearl Jam, Tool, 311, Smashing Pumpkins, White Zombie, Korn, others. best show? Tool, but zombie was cool he had a gigantic robot move around on stage. Oh, and I believe it was portrayed as a Killer Robot, which made it even cooler.

System of a Down, Tool, ZAO, Opeth, Soilwork, The Mars Volta (nothing like anything else I listen to just really wierd), Agalloch, Becoming the Archetype, Isis and others too but that's what came to mind.

Fav is The Smashing Pumpkins. Others I like include Ash, Atari Teenage Riot, Hed PE, Hatebreed, Transplants, NIN, Deftones, Sparta, Wu tang, The Bravery, and Rage Against the Machine.

Umm... Metallica, Muse (the best live band I have ever seen), Ash, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, Coldplay, Keane... I'm very mood dependant with my music taste and will listen to most things if it suits what im doing..
For example Linkin Park (The reanimation album) is one of my favourite coding albums along with Metallica's Reload. Where as Keane, Damien Rice, Coldplay suit more chilled moments like reading and I prefer playing the more mellow stuff on my guitar.. When I get the time lol

Yup.IMO Flying in a blue dream was the best album Joe ever did, Surfing with the Alien in 2nd place.
Heres a cover version of one of my favorite satch songs, i dont even bother trying to phrase it like joe, so dont expect a complete copy. :)
