I heard about this a while ago from Conceptart.org a while ago... then I saw it pop up again, and I watched those "Creating Kaos" vids. Very cool, very ambitious core group. I love to make concept art- both just sketches and digital paintings (with Photoshop.)

Not sure how recent those vids are, but I will assume they are fairly recent. I want to say that I'd love to contribute- not 'work', but contribute my services to the team. Not only is my stuff probably not good enough to be paid, but I don't even need to be paid, so I'd just like to help on the side for free, so they have a bit of extra help without worrying about cost. I'll post some links here of some sketches of mine (again, as I said, not so great), but if I can help feel free to contact me (I already sent a message from the site, though I'm not sure how reliable that'll be).

Feel free to give me some critique as well, I'm always open to it.
(Keep in mind too, none of this is meant to be "finished", they are all done pretty quickly.)

(Sorry that the one below is blurry... It's a huge sketchbook and I need to use 2 hands to scan it, and the page won't stay flat, thus creating the value ripples D:)

(Below; Not meant to be a "Character design", just quickly trying to create a pose and identity)

(Below: 20 minute or so speedpaint... unsuccesful... low contrast, bad colors, bad mood, etc.)

Eh, that's most of my recent (and relevant) junk.

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area, or if there is even an area for this. =\

EDIT: And here is a link to my sketchbook on Conceptart.org/forums, for those interested:

It's just
Lots
and lots
and lots
and lots
and lots
of hard work and dilligence. You have to be able to observe your surroundings, and be able to store them in your memory accuratley. That's all drawing really is- It's recalling instances from a sort of "mental vocabulary", to create something believable- well, for concept work anyways.

For fine art (Painting apples and landscapes and such), it's about training your eye to realizes things like Color hue, Saturation, value, intensity, how to give the illusion of form on a 2d surface, the spacing between the objects so you can accuratley recreate it, etc.

But it's worth it. I got a headstart on most people tho, I'm 16 and alot of artists don't start until they are 20 or so...
