(Sorry if there's another post on this!)
OK, I don't know why this just came to me but I was just thinking about how bad ass it would be to shape shift as an Al'Gar... Imagine turning into a hell hound, or just a pure demon at any time you choose. I think it'd be sweet.
And maybe shape shifting as a Deva would turn you into more of an angelic beast (haven't thought of one.. lol). I don't know if Humans should be able too... It's kind of out of our skill range.. lol.

Number one point here: Al'Gar shape shifting = awesome sauce.

Opinions? :)

Absolutely, man.
My idea about it would be a bit deep - 2 major types of shapeshifting:
A - Hybrid Forms (Lycanthropy, half-beast, etc)
B - Full Forms (complete transformation) - Disregard for normal form's size or shape.
Not necessarily better, just different.

So the line of techniques A would allow you to acquire traits of a certain beast by half-transforming into it, and the line of techniques B would allow you a complete transformation that might make you alot bigger or alot smaller than your normal form.

Shape shifting. You know how the skills affect how you look in game? Wouldn't the skill sets for shape shifting do the same? Like an angel who is combat oriented would be totally different from one who's magically oriented. Plus being a total shape shifting thing it doesn't have to be a minor change. when certain skills alone break a limit, say combat, while magical skills are left minorit would unlock a totally different form type.

All hail Coffee, the god of inspiration.
